Hi all,

I'm trying to create a word document while I'm in a VFP app. When it works....it's great. However, sometimes it doesn't work and I can't figure out why. The current configuration: VFP5.0a, Windows NT SP3, Pentium Pro 200, Microsoft Office 97. Sometimes when I'm running the stand alone .exe out of VFP, I will get OLE Error Codes.
I'm getting two main errors:
1. The server threw an exception - this usually occurs while word is doing it's thang (inserting the file, saving, etc.).
2. Server exectution fails - this usually occurs prior to word opening up.

My question: Has anyone experienced intermittent OLE Error codes while trying to use MS Word and, if so, what did you do to correct the problem?

I really would appreciate any insight.
