Before making my grand announcement a couple of weeks ago I floated a trial balloon of sorts and she was the one I floated it by. What I got back was exactly what I had hoped for, which was compassion mixed with firmness. (The phrase "get off your butt and do it" comes to mind <g>). It was a guess on my part and I guessed right. She is a terrific ally when you're in a tough spot.
