>She gave you a good answer. Deal with it.

Who rattled YOUR freakin' cage? Deal with what? It matters not a hoot to me what you call yourselves. I was just wondering if anyone knew the answer to trhe quiz question. I figured an AMERICAN would be the person to ask. What's your problem?

Now, why are you getting nasty and personal? Nowhere did I cast aspertions at your fine, noble, LARGE empire
In what way is our tiny island "sh*tty" please?

>If during our "edumication" (sorry, cheap shot) ...

I threw that in intentionally as a flippant use of the word.

>...we were asked who we are as a nation, it would be an easy question to answer. We are Native Americans, British, French, Germans, Swedes, Italians, African Americans, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Mexicans, Canadians, Iraqis, Poles, Russians, Bosnians, on and on and on. We are all Americans now and this is what gives us our strength. The phrase "melting pot" is apt. The mix of people from every nation on earth, U.S. citizens now, is truly unprecedented in human history. I am an American, of typically mixed ancestry, and proud to be one. "When you're running down my country, man, you're walking on the fighting side of me" -- Merle Haggard.

There you go again, accusing me of "running down your country". I thought we'd sorted ages ago that I don't. Show me where I did so.
