>>>>>I was watching my favourite intellectual quiz show last week: "QI", and one of the questions was "What is the nationality of a person from the USA?". I kinda missed the answers. Now a lot of them would say "American" but that essentially refers to the continent; a Canadian could equally call himself "American" (as indeed could a Mexican, Bolivian or Chilean - "North" or "South" aren't included).

I wonder how they plan to include French descent non native Quebecers, say one born in Alberta as Quebecois (pronounced keh bec wah, fyi)

>>>Awww good memories. If you feel nostalgia getting to you come on over to the province of Quebec. With the way you talk about us I'm sure we could find someone to beat you up. And if you're lucky you could get get back to Toronto in the same plane that got you here ;-D

>>"talk about us" - who do you think I'm talking about?

>>We're all Canadian, except politicians who wave their little banners to get people to vote for the benefit of the politicians.

>I knew we would agree on something. Politicians. That is a strange race. Can't live with them. Can't live... Hmmm I wonder what would happened if we tried to live without them for a while. That would'nt mean having to live without people in charge of cities, provinces or countries. Perhaps the way things are managed should be changed. It look like every time we begin to deep in their practices there's always a scandal somewhere.

>And on top of everything we don't see them often pass laws against malpractices made by them <g>.

You really need to understand that being born in Quebec means I have only the greatest care and good feelings. This Quebec Nation thing makes me feel like I'm excluded. One of my best friends in high school came from Ste. Eustache and didn't speak a word of English. I was his only means of communication.

We don't need more separation, do we?
