Thanks for your reply. I can see from your response, that I am going to have create a class in any event to fetch that object. To do the 'saveAsClass', it appears I will have to instantiate the form (do form) which will cause the init events to fire in all the classes on the form and cause problems. Your solution does give me some ideas. I was not aware that an object could be saved as a class from a form (saveAsClass).
