Good afternoon Yuseff
The simplest way is to open the table and in the Browse window make your edits. Close the table. The edits are saved.
Othewise, see the VFP Help file. The Help file has adequate examples on how to write a simple program to acomplish what you want.
BUT, I think this will damaged the index AND memo fields as I believe that Clipper uses a different file format than does any version of VFP.
Suggestion? Make a copy of your client's data. Edit a couple of records. Give the edited Clipper table back to your client to see if his application can read the table. If it works, good. If not, you will know before you invest a lot of your time.
Good luck
Don Lowrey
