Last weekend I was on the phone with a guy I have invited to join the youth soccer board. He said he would get back to me after his return from a business trip to Orlando, which he took pains to point out was expecting a cold snap of 64F on Monday. I gave him my sincere sympathy.

I actually lived in Orlando for a year and a half in my consulting days and there is a heck of a lot to be said for it this time of year. Grab the shorts and the golf clubs instead of the snow shovel. You can have the summers, hot as hell and raining all the time, but the winters were sweet. The snowbirds with money have it right: winters down south, the rest of the year up north.
