>You remind me about similar problem in the Project Manager. When you build APP/EXE and an error is encountered during compilation, you can choose to ignore it. After that when you build again, the error will not be shown because PRG is not recompiled. However "Recompile All" options will bring all such errors to surface. The bottom line, be carefull using "Recompile All" on somebody's the projects.

And when you get to recompile someone else's project, you discover all sorts of errors, and you wonder how did this ever compile, or how did it run at all. This may explain it - the original author chose to ignore some errors, and never recompiled. The app/exe runs happily as long as it doesn't hit any of the bad spots.

Now with today's machines, there's no excuse to not recompile - except that it updates the timestamps on all the classlibs, forms etc (except prgs), which then completely confuses source control. Maybe someone should write an utility to restore timestamps, using filesystem object or whatever. The FoxTools FoxTouch() has a bug, as George Tasker noted somewhere - it assumes the time passed is UTC time. Checked for the current version, still true.
