Well, I found where the save code was, but that turned out to be moot when I realized they were setting tablebuffering on these free tables (I had started thinking - incorrectly - over the years, that buffering did not work for free tables). Knowing that it was buffered made what I wanted to do easy. Thanks for your reply.

On another subject, do you know where the SBTExtend function resides?


>That was before 2001, I have copies of that version but no activation codes. I'm guessing it was still very close to Pro 5.0. Take a look at SYITEM.PRG. This should be located in the SM folder off of the root program folder. The save for items is handled in the l_save() function.
