Microsoft has simulated the bug today and they are working on it. I have been told to receive a status tomorrow.
As for why it is like that, I don't know. What I know is that we were unable to simulate the bug under .NET 1.1 but only under .NET 2.0, no matter the OS, no matter the IIS version. So, it could be in the VFPOleDb data provider but could also be in regards to what has changed in .NET 2.0.
