It's now clear we need to invest on the icons and bitmaps (buy the make) and make the image tad bigger... For them to show.

That's my standpoint as well. But beta users would appreciate that the application display "state of the art" behaviour.
I'd be glad to know how a VFP9 application display on VISTA? Is the AERO glassy touch available?
From the MSDN pointer, it looks like "notifications" is one of the ways to go for the application. Can you do that in a VFP 9 application?
