Zurs in Austria I think. In Switzerland, I cannot remember the name anylonger something like wingen or wengen... (I'm getting too old!) My favorite slope is actually in the U.S. - Telluride's Plunge... :o) I was fortunate to be able to do a lot of downhill skiing in Colorado because I lived there during my teen years. Every weekend a carload of us went to a different location. Downhill skiing in the winter and four-wheeling in the summer was about all we did back then (that and diving off the cliffs near Colorado National Monument to swim in the summer and that was the STUPIDEST thing I ever did).

>>One of my favorite places for snow skiing is the Zugspitze. It is also the scariest cablecar (gondola) ride I've ever taken!

>While it is certainly the best place in germany to ski, the austrian and swiss arena's are more challenging. Did you have a chance to try these as well ?
