As a newbie I have really been struggling with getting a combo box control to work in a grid. My major problem is that the combo's dropdown list closes as soon as I type any character (well, within a fraction of a second). This makes incremental searches a tad difficult :) While Googling, I came across a MS KB article # 166378, which states:

"The combo box control has an Incremental Search property that, when set to true (.T.), searches the Control Source of the combo box with each keystroke."

I thought it searched the ROWSOURCE, no? Maybe it was just poor wording in this article, and they really meant RowSource?

My understanding is that the ControlSource is the field/data object to which the control is bound.
