I have found that PHP is very similar to Fox; it seems very easy to get started with when you have a Fox background. If you want to complement your HTML/Javascript skills then I would recommend taking a look at any of the SAMS "Teach yourself PHP in ..." guides.
If you fancy something less web centered then you could always make use of your Fox-honed OO skills and try picking up C#; Hentzenwerke's ".NET for Visual FoxPro Developers" is a good to guide to migrating your fox knowledge to the .NET languages.
