Haven't really calculated it, but artificial skiresorts like the one in dubai (even if built in more moderate temperature zones) are probably *more* wasteful than flying the people skiing to snow areas. And more of these areas will be built if the weather trend continues.

What are the other options ? Make Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday skeleton-, snowboard- and skiday, when everybody tries to eat at least 1 steak to make sure cows enter the endangered species list and thereby guarantee fine snow ? Also forbid indians and vegetarians to ski ?
