The only framework I'll recommend to you is Visual Fox Express. All frameworks have a huge learning curve. I use Visual MaxFrame Professional. It provides both monolithic and n-tier approaches. That may be a good thing for backward compatibility, but not for a newbie. With VFE you'll be learning the right things.
