Like you've seen so far it's not that easy to find the right framework. Programmers will tell you different reasons why they like the one they're using. So try to learn as much as you can go here

http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~FoxProWiki

By the way this is a very nice place to learn a lot of things about Visual FoxPro. Just type "Framework" in the search box (Upper right of the main screen). And then start reading. This should be a good starter.

But don't take this as the definitive answers on frameworks. As for everything in the net you'll have to use your judgment. If you feel that a framework is right for you then perhaps it really is. Even if there's not as much information on it as another framework.

Best of luck in your search.

>As a VFP newbie, I too am looking into 3rd party frameworks. I read thru all your messages in this thread and wonder what decision you finally made? I must say I do like the affordability of VPM (standard version) at $50! Sounds like an inexpensive way to check out a framework, decide what works for you and what doesn't etc. Even if you do not end up staying with it, you'll probably have a better idea of what you do want in some other framework...

>OTOH, I did download their most recent sample appls. Neither displayed properly on my dual display XP Pro system. I think they try to auto-size their screens, miscalculating the size of my screen (twice what it really is).
