Croce was an interesting guy. I had been to a couple Sixers home games back in his day and at the start of the game he would rappel from the rafters to the court as part of the pre-game show. I'm guessing that was before his motorcycle accident. The sixers could never bring in a big man that they could pair with AI. They had Matumbo for a few years but he had a tough time getting up and down the court. If they could have brought in somebody like a Garnett. Not even someone that big/good, but they need someone bigger than Webber.
