Chuck,

It's the 3 letter prefix for combobox. Check the help file under naming conventions for a list of them.

If you put the parent table at EOF() then everything should be empty. But if the cbo is bound to a field in the parent table it'll be disabled. So you'll have to unbind it from the field.
