Still, it seems that it would make more sense to have a "smart default" rather than be "enforced" since naming conventions are really such a subjective thing. Also, the in the real world there is a lot of naming ugliness out there that we OCD-types have to contend with. :)

Actually, the BLG is doing just that--it's a "smart default". You can add the underscores back in or make any other name changes to the business object name that you want.
