I have satellite TV and love the ability to see the TV listings on the screen. However, my mom just got cable with plenty of channels, but it does not offer that kind of listing on the TV. The "TV Guide" channel on cable is too slow for this day in age and understandably shows her channels she does not get.

I thought for sure I could get her a link with something similar online, but so far I have been disappointed. TVGuide.com is all confused. I customize it and but it quickly forgets the channels I have told it were a "favorite" and goes back to showing all sorts of stuff that she does not get or would even want to read the title of. No channel numbers are shown either.

Now one thing I should mention. TVGuide.com does mention on their site that Comcast (My mom's ISP) blocks their emails. I registered with a different email, and maybe Comcast messes up TCGuide's web pages too.

tv.yahoo.com kinda works, but it is very slow.

What I would like is a site that can be customized so that:
- She logs on the first time and the site asks her what her TV provider is so she starts off with the right channel options.
- From then on she logs on and it remembers her preferences and options.
- Shows the network and her channel number for the shows.
- She can customize the default list so that she can cull out channels she does not have or want.

We would also like, but not as important:
- Pages loads pretty fast
- Color coated listings for program types such as time slots one color for movies, another for sports, etcetera (TVGuide has that feature).

Does anyone know of a web site they like for this kind of info?
