As you probably already took one of the many ways to recuperate your data,
before a solid redesign you might change a few large char fields into memo fields to give you some breathing space.
Make sure these fields are not often written/changed, as the fpt doesn't always reuse the previous data location
it is therefore likely to grow faster. But it is a relatively safe short term band aid.
