You're welcome!

>Yes, you know it right:) At least you knew the name 'Fluke', I didn't. Unfortunately they don't have GPIB card. Probably I'd solve that w/o that card but I don't want to take the risk personally (if something doesn't work as expected they'd say it is my fault in the first place). To my chance after submitting this message I made another search and found few places (probably I didn't use right keywords in first search). Talked with the management and got green light for purchasing:)
>Thanks.

>>Thank you for your confidence, but I am sorry to disappoint you. My company sells electronic components and equipment, but we manufacture nothing. And while we use computers to almost anything imaginable, we don't sell computer hardware, that market is under too much pressure.
>>
>>BTW, it's been a long time since I heard about GPIB, which stands for General Purpose Interface Bus, as far as I remember. It's mostly used to connect computers and electronic instruments like oscilloscopes and multimeters, right? I suggest you contact an instrument dealer or importer. What about Fluke, I guess they have a Turkish branch office?

>>>Hi Tore,
>>>Trying my chance:)
>>>We have an equipment called SBE 9plus (www.seabird.com) with a Deck unit 11Plus. Deck unit connects to the computer via a GPIB card. Our existing card is old (I first saw it around 1996 in use), 8bits, ISA and doesn't work over 8Mhz (I couldn't make it work on any computer faster than a 486 IOW).
>>>We are now seeking for a new version. I found USB,PCI GPIB cards from quancom.de, inesinc.com, amplicon.com.uk, agilent.com ... The problem is only one of them (agilent) has a distributor in Turkey as I could find and their prices sounded to be high.
>>>Does your firm manufacture such cards and if yes is there a way we could buy (and of course then I would need price info too).
>>>If that info wouldn't take much time I'd appreciate.
>>>TIA
