Your work at this site is outstanding Michel.

Everyone who uses this service should register without any question.

In my country we pay a lot of taxes, we even copy the name of the I.R.S. but in
spanish is S.R.I., for example if I make an invoice of $ 100.00 I have to charge
it with 12% VAT and also I have to pay 8% for Income Revenue, that means for each
$ 100 dollars billed the state gets $ 20, and if you use services like celular phone you have to pay an adittional 15% for ICE (special consumption tax). They allways want more.

By the way, in Ecuador we use the United States Dollar as our local currency.

So I sincerelly hope that you win your case against the Canadian government and
if you don't LEAVE CANADA NOW, the city of Van Buren is 3 hours away in Maine so
put your server over there.

I'm sure ecuadorian's I.R.S. is already looking for this type of tax
to make us pay more for international sales over the internet.

Best Regards.

c.x.

Well, first of all, I think you know what is all the work we are trying to accomplish.
So, I would simply encourage you to sign it asap so at least, we'll get one more. I have been working on this issue for two years now. This situation has cost me a lot of money. So, when I will get more money to enhance the banner, I will do it. But, for now, it would be appreciated if you could just sign it because you certainly know exactly the problem I am facing and what I am trying to change by first winning our appeal, secondly, avoiding to pay this 20,000.00$ requested uncollected tax, and by having the Canada Revenue Agency to readjust itself. You are also a Canadian. So, this means that you could be forbidded to access the Universal Thread in a short future if we loose our appeal as the only way to cut this tax would be to request a new ruling by providing the proof that we would apply a restriction that the site would no longer be able to be accessed by Canadians nor within the Canadian
>borders. This is of course, if we lost our appeal, and in the last situation. As, as I mentioned in another thread, choosing to keep 90% of the customers instead of 10%, is a pretty easy equation for me to do.
