Can you just use Grouping with PO header in Header band?

>The Band1 is the P.O. Header and Band2 is P.O. Items. So the report shows one line for the P.O. header info (Vendor, Dates, Total Amount) and then a bunch of items. Then at the bottom it is supposed to summarize the P.O. Amount column. Am I more clear now?

>>I'm confused on what you are trying to explain. By Band1 and Band2, are you referring to Detail1 Band and Detail2 Band (as in a multiple detail band report) .. or are you referring to some header band and just one detail band?

>>Please be more specific and list exactly what expression and settings you have in the variables and what expression and settings you have in the objects you are printing.

>>>The report has two bands. The total of a column of band1 is a variable that is supposed to SUM a value of a field. The field name is unique to the Band1 (header of the report). Band2 shows detailed items and no totals. But the Sum Total variable prints a much higher number. The "Variable to Store" on the Variables tab of the report designer shows the field name without the alias.

>>>I have the same report without the second band (details) and that one works.

>>>What am I missing?

>>>Thank you.
