This message has been marked as the solution to the initial question of the thread.
>I have a grid that is buried deep on a pageframe. When I click on the pageframe tab, that page shows and the grid looks good with the first row highlighted as the active row. I then click on the 2nd row (or any row) in the grid. The highlight moves to the clicked row .. but the AfterRowColumnChange event never fires. I confirmed this by putting WAIT WINDOW in that method. It's only the first click on the grid that doesn't fire the event, all other subsequent clicks on the grid fire the event as expected.

Could you try to call Grid.Setfocus from Page.Activate ?
