Its a great place to work. The company looks after its employees and we have a number of perks. Our software sells for millions in licensing fees and our competitors would love to get a look at what we do and how we do it. Therefore the extreme measure in software protection. The qa's machines have no restrictions and can access most sites.

There is no usb access, no cd's/dvd's, no outgoing email with attachments, no access to im, chats, blogs or web-based mail sites. No https access to anything, etc. They are afraid of the codebase being transferred off site by someone who may have an axe to grind or someone who has been paid for the code, etc.
