No, I'm sorry. However, it looks like the name of the table itself is stored as pure text, so I would take the chance and change it. I suggest that you make sure that the length of the table names are the same.

Another solution would be to use Gendbc.prg which i in the tools\Gendbc folder. This program creates a program which you can run to regenerate a DBC. This means that you can run Gendbc, change the generated program and run it. To me this sounds like a safer solution.
