Hi Kevin,
I couldn't yet find a way to reliably list available servers either by using SQLDMO,SMO,winAPI etc. If you find one that 'really' works inform me too.
For example I have 3 instances running on my system and any utilities and/or .Net code is only returning first default local instance (SQL2000). Other 2 SQL2005 instances are always missed no matter what I use.
