If it is displaying on the mobile, then the commands are being sent to it as they should be. Do you have a manual or is there one online for the mobile? It looks as if the mobile is receiving the data but dialing out. Without more information on the mobile itself, it is impossible to say though. Also, what type of line is the mobile actually connected to? Viv mentioned in her message that what you are using is a phone, not a modem. Is that correct? Does it allow for commands sent via serial and act on them? Is it wireless? I really don't know enough about your modem or phone to help much more.
