I didn't know I could do such things with it, just one question, Is the Web Browser control browser-independent? I mean, can this be used as fine with IE or FireFox installed on the computer?

The Web Browser Control *is* IE. It is basically IE in ActiveX form.
To view, as Sergey said, you still require a PDF viewer, like Acrobat (free) viewer.
