Given how early it was in the game, that T.O. basically changed his story over the next few days, and yes, everything else you've brought up here about his credibility in the past, it's unlikely that anyone would believe him.

If he had just stuck with his post-game apology, had done a better job of the apology and stuck with it, instead of trying to change his story the next day, he would have been much better off. Again, his own stupidity and self-centeredness strikes again. So much for the joy of making the playoffs after this weekend's games. Instead we are sucked down into the quagmire that is T.O.
