Just stumbled upon this old thread and thought it's OK to ask a similar question. I saw recently a less or equal sign < on a button (and greater or equal). I was unable to figure out how this was created... AFAIK there is no such symbol on a keyboard and I could not find it in the Characters Map.

UPDATE. I just found it. ≤ at the bottom in Arial font...
