Hi Tracy,
There isn't a buffered mode with Foxpro Dos. When you do an unlock, others will see your record updates (There is a buffer with FPD but, not same as VFP'S buffered mode).
However you don't need flush or sys(1104) with VFP environments for buffered records, you should use tableupdate() for VFP and your records will be seeing from others...
If you care about saving records immediately to disk I see only "flush force" command can do it. Old flush command doesn't do that.
