Title:
That doesn't happen on MY machine
Hi All,
After loading a program on a client's machine, then running it to create an Excel file, we get the following error...
OLE Dispatch exception code 0 from Microsoft Excel: Microsoft Excel cannot acces the file
'D:\GMR\Lunches\V_lunch\data' There are several possible reasons:
The file name or path does not exist
The file you're trying to open is being used by another program.
Close the document in the other progr..
I tried to duplicate the problem on my machine and it runs fine. Argh!
I assigned the value of the program directory to m.dir and call all data files as follows...
if !used('file')
use m.dir+"data\file.dbf" in 0 excl
endif
There is NO reason the program should be looking to any other drive or folder than C:(and then the folder/s the program is located within).
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Martha Kroll
