Hi Sam base on your question I'm assuming that your experience with .NET is none or almost none, so a good place to start is http://www.learnvisualstudio.net/ then my other sugestion is when learning .NET don't go the way I used to do this in VFP how can I do it in .NET, cause this way can be very painfull, instead think on what do I need to acomplish, and then after you have all of that laydown see how you can do that using .NET, This has always been my approach when I'm switching from 1 language to another, and have brought me good results.
