The projects point at the same include files. Some of these defines would not be needed in VFP8, but that shouldn't matter. I also have some include files using GetString, but I think that's in the one CodeBook project I have (and the one I'm compiling is not the CodeBook project, though that project is the other VFP 8 project I still have). Are you using CodeBook or Mere Mortals?

>Putting all this and also what you have said together I may assume that somehow in your VFP8 project path you have strings.h file that is not what is expected for your project; and in this strings.h file there are defines like "Properties" or "TB_PROPERTIES_LOC" but redefined using GetString() sentence.
