Thats what we ended up doing, based on the particular user's setting. We create a cursor with a gen field, appending the image, and then report.

>Actually it does sound like an answer if you could center it when using a GENERAL field. My main problem would be that the images are stored in files, so I'd have to write some code to move them to a GENERAL field for the purpose of printing the report, but that should be straightforward.

>>While wrestling w/ this issue months ago, i found that outputting an image on a report using the FILE method, i could not center it. If i used a general field, i could center it. Some of the users' workstations could not view image reports due to their configuration (not having an OLE Image Editor i believe), so we had to have a user-specific switch so that the user could go with the FILE or GENERAL FIELD method of image reporting. Not an answer to your problem, just an observation on what we encountered..

>>>I second this question! I have the same situation, but the report has kind of been put on the back burner. I eagerly await input on this issue . . .

With the stretch property set to 1 (isometric) the image displays in the center of the allocated control area. The JPEG associated with each table row may be of a different size, so I expect a variable (but equal) amount of white space above and below the image, depending on its size. So far so good.

How can I get the report-version of the image to center within the allocated image space?
