Cherry juice is pretty common now. The problem is finding pure cherry juice and not one with added sugar or mixed with another fruit. It's so tart plain that it probably doesn't sell well. There are many companies who manufacture it. For awhile it was touted as relieving arthritis and gout pain and the FDA slammed companies for making such an unsubstantiated claim:

>>>Agree. For me the only drinkable pops are Dew and Ginger Ale. No matter what you flavour Coke with, it's still battery acid.

>>I still haven't been able to understand how sugar water could become so popular. In our tradition, it was always something sold only on fairs and railway stations, not a real drink. For real stuff, you drink mineral water (or soda+wine, aka špricer - spritzer), or real fruit juice. It even isn't real sugar anymore.

>>But there's hope: I've seen pure blueberry juice in the grocery yesterday, finally. Didn't try it, it's too damn expensive (something like $7 a quart, or even steeper - one of those bottles where you can't really judge the volume, is it a trick of light or just your eyes cheating on you), but it's a start.

>Fruit juice, on the other hand, yes. I've not yet seen blueberry juice. I'd like to try it. Pomegranate juice seems to be becoming popular. Another one I'd like to see that I haven't yet is pure cherry juice. I can't imaging that it's not sold somewhere, but I've never seen it anywhere in Toronto.
