Found it! The May 1996 FoxPro advisor has all of the details concerning therm bars. There is a class lib called wwUtils. I know I grabbed a copy of this lib sometime ago. Maybe check out the www site for West Wind Technologies (www.west-wind.com/tech). There is another article in the April 1996 that discusses status bar therm bars. Simple U use the Set Message to command to pad a therm bar. Now, specifically U want to use this to show SQL progress. Again, I do not recommend that, but... U may need to run a function from within the SQL stuff. One problem U may encounter is getting the end number. Do U need to run the SQL stuff twice to get the total number of hits in order to properly display a true percentage? Maybe someone else has some input. I am at a loss... Let me know if U need any more info on these articles. I don't know if they are on-line or not? htwh... steve
