>Hi Naomi. Hope your new year is starting out great! :o) I have used a couple of frameworks liked both of them. All in all though, I prefer to work in 'vanilla VFP.'
Depends how you define vanilla. Most of the time I'm happy if I have a good set of classes - specially the forms and bizobjects, that will take care of 1:n documents, saving etc, then a good slim app object, a messaging form (unless I can use my Alert for it), and maybe a base set of controls that work with the forms - some default validation hook is always welcome.
I'm even using the commercial frameworks from vanilla Fox - unless it's something like VFE where you can't just create a new class from the command window, because it has to be registered in the metadata. I'd rather have just the classes and the command window, and just ignore all the builders and wizards. I can write my own when I really need them.
