>Hmmmm, I lived on a boyscout camp for awhile! :o) Camp Tahosa near Ward, CO... I guess so! :o)

I never made it to a camp. I just thought I looked really stupid in the uniform, so I went over the wall. I think I'm ok talking about it now. I'm pretty sure the statute of limitations is past by now on this type of thing.

>>>Hardly. Just another ex-soldier :o) There are a LOT of us. One thing for sure, everyone's experience in the military is different. It mostly depends on the type of job you have, where you are stationed, your assignments, and your commander and supervisors. The first 6 years in the Army were great for me. I was in Army Aviation and had what I would consider great assignments (except for that one year at Fort Polk). The remainder, while educational, I could have done without! :o)

>>>>>>It is not about who is recommending war or when war is required. Rather the documentary and book are both concerned with how the military has become an power unto itself. It is such a huge and profitable business that the raison d'etre has now become money, power and oil, since without oil the machine cannot run.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>This is about militarism and imperialism. About how the military-industrial complex affects and exterts an influence over an enormous part of the economy, the political world, and big business. It is what Eisenhower was warning about in his farewell address.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>The book has much more detail than the documentary but both are worth the time to review.
