>They're very funny, Perry, but what are they a list of - headlines from 2006?>
>Most of them are what we call "bumper stickers", small signs some people stick to their cars' rear bumpers.
>I've seen a few of those.
Ah, I know what a bumper sticker is. Like "my other car is a Porsche", or "Short Vehicle" stuck on a Mini, "If you can read this you're driving too close". Brit drivers tend to stick them in their rear windows. We don't have so many jokey ones, except the "Scuba divers do it to great depth" type and series (yawn). The one that bugs me is "Pull back - baby on board", to which I think "I'm glad you told me that cos I was thinking of carelessly ramming you from behind"
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
