I am working over seas projects - that's where the "real" money is - the dollar is almost funny money. Europe, India and Africa are looking for imaginative, hardworking (and as the dollar goes) cheap US engineers. And in dollars, it's a better return than US firms a willing to pay. Things were better before US IT professionals became Microsoft Repairmen.

I say - tax the rich 50 to 60% - or suggest they move to Nigeria and let sweaty local constables search their children for contraband. I think that would make high taxes appealing.
If Gates wants to be a real "Humanitarian" he needs to breakup Microsoft. An OS shop and an Applications shop. And that, my friends, should be a ralleying cheer for any of us in this business that want to survice!
Does anybody hear feel they should protect the wealthy? 100K a year is not wealthy - so don't let your vanity confuse your 100K incomes as a sign of wealth.
Maybe we should start a union - an international IT union - right here on the UT!
