My guess is that once the Init event is executed your maintask receives the array back, and since you have not changed anything there, all you see is 'Apple'.

Thanks Marc, but yes my form was modal, finally I found what was the problem, In VFP, the parameter you pass is only available to the
INIT method no matter what the status of SET UDFPARMS
is (which, by the way, is always REFERENCE, with a DO
command). got it? :)
