Sorry if this appears twice - there was a glitch when I posted before so I'm uncertain if my previous post made it.

I have a view based on a table : select * from t (v1, say)
I have a view based upon v1: select * from v1

(this is the simplest format and I can reproduce the behaviour by just viewing the views and tables).

Issuing a refresh(n) on v2 does not reflect changes to the base table unless I also issue a refresh(n) on the intermediate view (v1).

Is this the way VFP works?
