I knew a rich young lady in college who may have believed in it too much. One day she mentioned that she had gotten a phone call from her father, who said his banker buddy called him to say her account was overdrawn. (Presumably offering her dad to replenish the account like a gentleman, with no need for overdraft charges as the great unwashed get hit with). "How can I be overdrawn?" she said. "I still have checks left."
