>>Maybe you should spend a little more time with jazz. Get yourself an appreciation of what real music sounds like. ;)

In no particular order, and not intended to be any kind of "best of" list, here are a few songs you might like. Dig deeper if anything catches your ear.
"One O'Clock Jump" by Count Basie. The version you want is Benny Goodman's from the concert at Carnegie Hall in 1938. Listen to the last couple of minutes and try to stay seated.
"Them There Eyes" by Billie Holiday
"Ko Ko" by Charlie Parker. The last two notes (in this song and others) are the origin of the word bebop.
"Take Five" by Dave Brubeck
"Watermelon Man" by Herbie Hancock
It's almost criminal to give you such a short list, one that includes no Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, John Coltrane, etc. etc. etc. Just intended as a sampler.
I mention only in passing that jazz is the best lovemaking music <g>. (In fact that's what the word itself means).
