Hi,
There appears to be a direct link between the Solar Max we are currently experiencing and the El Nino events, the increase in solar activity drives these events, not us.

BTW during a Solar Max the sun's output increases by over 70% i.e. from an average of approx 300W/m2 to over 500W/m2 continuously at the earths surface during daylight hours.

This is another example of how our input to the energy balance really is insignificant.

>I don't know for sure that global warming is occuring or that if it is, the damage is irreversable to the point of ruining the future for our children. Interestingly though, everyone seems to be blaming the strange (and mostly warm) weather this winter on global warming, but the weather guru from the NOAA stated today on the news that it is NOT a result of globabl warming but it IS due to el nino and will continue until at least late spring.

>>Hi Victor,
>>
>> I gather that you are referring to me, may I state this, I am not saying that the earth isn't getting warmer, what I am saying is that the amount of input to the warming process from us, the human race, is minimal compared to nature's own natural warming cycle, and the same goes for our effect on the next natural cooling cycle, our input won't make it perceivably less cool.
>>
>>I would like to ask you the following couple of questions:-
>>
>>1. Do you know what the global average temperature would be if the earth did not have a nuclear core, and why it is so. ?
>>
>>2. Are you aware of the amount of heat that comes from this source.
>>
>>3. Are you aware that the amount of heat coming from this source varies greatly and that it appears to be on a similar periodic cycle to that of the sun.
>>
>>4. Are you aware that ALL global warming models DO NOT take this heat source into account or calculate it's effect incorrectly.
>>
>>5. Are you aware that the output of the sun also varies greatly and that we are currently at solar max.
>>
>>6. Are you aware that most models calculate the effects of thermal inertia incorrectly.
>>
>>7. Are you aware that the entropic process is one of the most aggressive natural cycles know to man, and are you aware of it's effects on this subject.
>>
>>>I know there's at least one person out here who doesn't think that global warming is happening (or being caused by humans) cause he/she had a post saying so before.
>>>I'm still confused as to how anyone can think there is no such thing, but anyway it's been known for a while that politics are driving the science instead of the science driving the politics. Kinda a dangerous thing if you ask me....
