A teammate has copied our project onto my development machine (which seems a fragile and onerous project in itself) and I'm finding that, either I can't see the images in Design mode in the IDE (using an Images/... path) or I can see them in the IDE but not in the compiled program (using ../Images/... path).

Also, it seems that 'adding' files to a project does not actually COPY them - so I don't quite understand how VS actually constructs the references in the web app.

Any advice in an appropriate directory stucture and file locations?

TIA
